Little League Baseball

FARM Level (Coach pitch) is for boys and girls* Grades Pre-K/K or league age 5 to 6 years old. Any league age 5 yr olds that have not played a season of Tee Ball before this spring should play one season in the Tee Ball level.

The Farm level will meet twice per week. The first meeting of the week will be on Wednesdays at 5:30 for skills/practice, and the second meeting will be on a Sunday at 4pm for a game. The season will start the week of 4/22/24 and run for 8 weeks.

The program for the Farm Level focuses on the fundamentals of baseball and is designed to build a solid foundation for becoming a successful baseball player.

Tee Ball is for boys and girls, Grades Preschool/Pre-K or league age 4 to 5 years old. 

(* league 5yr old’s that have played a season of Tee Ball can pick the Farm level.)

They will meet every Saturday morning at 9am for an hour starting 5/4/24 for 7 weeks. Opening Day Celebrations with Parade on 4/27/24

Little League Baseball Age Chart

The players will be following a great program that builds a foundation for basic skills, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for the game through various drills, games, and activities.

Rookies (Coach/Modify Kid pitch) is for boys and girls* 1st Grade and 2nd Grade or league age 7 to 8*** years old.

They will meet twice per week Monday through Friday with a start time at 5:30. The first meeting of the week will be skills/practice either on Monday or Tuesday, and the second meeting will be a game either on a Thursday or Friday. The season will run for 8 weeks starting the week of 4/22/24.

The program for the Rookie Level focuses on the fundamentals of baseball and is designed to build a solid foundation for becoming a successful baseball player.

The Minors Level is meant for boys and girls league ages 8* thru 10 Little.

Little League Baseball Age Chart

This level is a competitive level with focus still on developing the players baseball skills. This level will have competitively scheduled games with a playoff for a champion at the end of the season. Practices will be scheduled by the Manager of the team if/when time and space will allow. This is an all-kid pitch level.

*- All league age 8-year old’s that wish to play in the Minors level will need to take part in a tryout/evaluation to determine if their baseball skill level is strong enough to play in the minors. Also the amount of league age 8 year olds could be determined by the amount of roster spots available. This tryout will take place on Saturday March 23rd at Watertown Middle School Gym. Times are TBD. If it's determined that their baseball skill level is not strong enough, they will be placed on a Rookie level team.

All league age 9-10 year-old players will need to take part in an evaluation that will take place on Saturday March 23rd at Watertown Middle School Gym. Times are TBD. All players league age 9-10 will be drafted by the managers of the teams.  

The 50/70 Level is meant for boys and girls League ages 11 thru 13.

This is a competitive level with scheduled competitive games and a playoff at the end of the season to determine a champion. Practices will be scheduled by the manager of the team if/when space and time will allow.

Any players that played in the 50/70 level last Spring(2023) and registered for this spring(2024) will be drafted onto a 50/70 team. 

Any league age 11yr olds will need to take part in a tryout/evaluation to determine if their baseball skill level is strong enough to play in the 50/70 level. If it's determined that their baseball skill level is not strong enough, they will be placed in the minors draft..

All players wanting to play in the 50/70 level will need to take part in the Tryout/evaluations that will take place on Saturday March 23rd at Watertown Middle School Gym. Times are TBD.
